I am beginning to code in c# today. And i need to modify PDF documents by inserting some text at specific position on PDF pages. To help me quick start, do you guys have any sample code for this? Hope this sample can show me how to code this in VS2010 using C#.

The first thought that come into my mind is to use PDF templates that have certain fields, e.g. product no. and description. These fields are supposed to be filled with text information. So, I try to fill in form fields in a premade PDF document, but I receive a Null Refrence error when running my c# project.

Having working on the similar project these days and I've managed to find a solution. The solution to overcome the NullReferenceException is to open your PDF with Adobe Acrobat and define the form fields a default value, changing to be something other value than null. Guess it will works for you as well.

That does the trick! Now I can insert sample text at a specific position on my PDF file.
