I have been testing XsPDF basic SDK for a month, among other things, open PDF files and split them into multiple PDF files. All things work well, but we ran into an issue. I get an error message in my project for few PDF documents, which is "Error Loading Document". The PDF files do not open. Does it because the PDF file contain iref stream? How can I check if file contains iref stream?

At the very beginning, i think this is caused by a change to the PDF compression algorithm while loading the file. Based on the feedback of support team, it is a bug. And it fixed now.

Yes...the earlier versions of XsPDF SDK did not support iref streams. But the current version adds the support for iref streams. Please directly download the latest version of XsPDF SDK to test.

I am developing a C# project and also on a same situation. Only few PDF files had that problem. And this did not bother me, so i moved on. If the error appear for few documents, you may do as i did, directly ignores the special files with iref stream. Thus not throwing the exception. Following is what i did.
