I am using a .net library to create a PDF document and then add images to this PDF document. The method I use in my c# project is to add images from image files. But sometimes I need to insert a dynamic image instead of an existing file to PDF document. For instance, the image is dynamically created at run-time.

Is there any library that supports adding dynamic images to PDF documents? In addition to string, is there any other way to add such dynamic images? Please recommend a library that supports both string and stream. Please let me know in detail.

I have just started such integration in our commercial product. But, rapidly came across the need to load images from Stream and encountered the problem like yours, because we need to use document preview. So, ask for a method that adding images from stream.

As for how to add an image to a runtime generated PDF file, I am using a library called XsPDF Pro SDK. It supports adding (dynamic) images to PDF document. You can load image source from a string or a stream in memory. So, i guess this is the suitable library for you all. BTW, inserting an image to specific location on pdf page is not an easy task. It provides the method to modify image position and size.
